The Pond Digger Podcast

Sep 27, 2019

Your eyes are watching a movie every day that you use them. What is it that paints these moving pictures that make up our lives? Light.  As soon as light is added to any scene, life is brought to the picture. So doesn’t it make sense that manipulating light can bring out incredible qualities in artwork? Eric and special guest, TJ Marco, are talking about the art of underwater lighting. TJ is an artist who uniquely almost always works with light. He has been in the sign business since 1982 and lighting these signs with neon helped him find his way into his profession. In a way, without light, there would be no art and no life. Remember, light brings life to everything!

Eric shares his insight on:

  • Using neon as it becomes more and more rare
  • Working his way from cutting metal to becoming an artist
  • Adding light to art as a way to bring out a different look
  • Mixing water and light to create new life
